The County Lads band was formed in late 2015 when musicians Alec McDonald and Robbie Moffatt wanted to have someone to play instruments with and share their love for Celtic music. A band was quickly formed when Hamish McDonald decided to join in with the fiddle. Starting to play in local talent shows, the band became quickly well known and are called on frequently to play at events including fairs, weddings, house parties, and fundraisers. Early in 2017, with their ever-growing repertoire of modern and traditional Celtic and Country songs, they added their fourth band member Nolan Laframboise. The band continues to share their talents and amaze all spectators. Alec (age 17) is the lead singer, plays guitar and bass. Hamish (age 14)plays the fiddle. Robbie (age 17) plays the accordion, banjo, bagpipes and harmony vocals. Nolan (age 16) plays bass, guitar, and harmony vocals.
